Creating New Perspectives for Academic Libraries

John Gilbert joined the University Library Maastricht in 1980, as head of the Scientific Information and Documentation department. In 1986, he was also made deputy Librarian. His appointment as Librarian followed in 1992. John will take early retirement on 1 January 2008. On this occasion two events are organized:

The symposium with the theme “Change, Innovation, Creativity, New Solutions and Concepts” on 14 December, 2007.
